Privacy

The email you leave on a recommendation, claim, or correction is private — it's only visible to directory admins and is never displayed publicly.

Public listings only show details that businesses choose to make public (address, phone, website, social links). Internal notes and source metadata are never exposed.

We keep basic anonymous analytics (searches, page views, click-throughs) to understand what people need help finding. No personal profiles are built.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to the monthly digest, we store:

• Your email address and preferred language.
• The date/time you subscribed and the exact consent text you agreed to.
• Your IP address at the time of subscription (used only to prevent abuse).

We use this only to send you the monthly digest. We do not sell or share subscriber emails. The email is sent through Lovable's built-in email infrastructure (our hosting platform).

Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. When you unsubscribe, we mark your record as unsubscribed and add your email to our suppression list so no further mail goes out. You can also reach out through the recommendation form and we'll remove your record entirely on request.
